Hi I am a wife, mom, new grandmother, sister and friend. When I gradualed from college I worked as an RN in Med/Surg. and have since been blessed to be able to teach, work with newborns, labor and delivery and be a pediatric nurse.
After struggling with Lupus and severe back pain I have had to give up nursing and am learning to stop and enjoy life one day at a time. This has been a struggle but has given me more time with my three grown children and new granddaughter.
About a year ago I began writing with hubPages and I find it both fulfilling and challenging.
When I am able I love photography, gardening and volunteer work.
Being sick has been humbling to say the least but as I see God's work in every detail of my life I have found the blessing of being more aware of my time with those I love and my daily life. I quess I am a work in progress!!!
